About Nick Evans

Nick Evans BSc MSc, is a Certified Master Trainer of NLP and an Accredited Trainer of Hypnosis. He works with both individuals and organisations in the field of personal and professional development and has many years experience helping people to empower themselves, empower others and create the life they want.  Nick graduated from Manchester University with a postgraduate degree in Cognitive Science, and after many years honing his own coaching skills he formed Active Personal and Professional  Development in 2002.

Over the years Nick has shared his knowledge and endless enthusiasm for NLP, Hypnosis and Applied Psychology with hundreds of people from all walks of life, the one thing they have in common...a desire to realise their full potential and help others do the same. Course delegates have included business owners, therapists, educators, doctors, health professionals, managers, CEO's and more. 

Nick is now trainer and course provider of choice for many individuals and organisations throughout the South West and beyond. Devon and Cornwall Police, Land Registry, EDF Energy, MOD, Powermatic, Hemsley Frasier, Arts Council, PCTs... and others all send people along regularly to learn powerful strategies in confidence building, leadership, influencing, positive thinking, coaching and presenting skills.

Nick's open courses attract many people wanting to launch lucrative new careers as NLP coaches and Hypnotherapists, as well as those interested in using the courses to get the best out of themselves and others. His overwhelming reason for starting and building a successful training company is to reach out to people and show how, with a few simple yet powerful techniques, you really can change the way you think, feel and act to make your life even better!

Nick is the proud father of a teenage son, writes voraciously (not just NLP and Hypnosis manuals:-), makes regular appearances in the media and loves living here in the beautiful South West of England.
